Those who are already using google AdSense for making some extra money, must have received the mail about the new AdSense for Search.
I have just upgraded my own blog and so I thought I should share a few things with you.

Search results on your own page
Unlike the normal search operations, it doesn’t lead the user to a totally different google search page. The search results along with the ads appear on one side of your own blog. So even after searching people will remain at your page only.

Selecting your Ad Location
As you all know the page element feature of the new blogger template, you can select the place in your webpage where the Ads will appear.

Selecting your keywords
You can now specify the kind of ads you want to appear in search by specifying keywords. For example you write movie reviews in your blog, you can specify keywords like “movies” or “films” that would help bringing ads related to films only.

Vertical Search
You can also allow your readers to search across multiple sites that would help them get better results along with better click through rates for you. Well I don’t know why it is called vertical search though! I thought horizontal would have been a better word.

There are some more feature which I have yet to realize. Anyway it is a big step towards customization of the ads that appear in your website and hence would mean better earnings for you.
