Salman Rushdie's Midnight's Children is one of the best books I have ever read if not the best. The award is just and the book thoroughly deserved it. Rushdie's Midnight Children is one of the top 100 works of literature in the last 100 years.

It didn’t come as a surprise...
But personally I think Midnight’s children is most hyped book of Rushdie. I personally like Haroun and the Sea of stories more that Midnight’s Children...
