Armed with legislative weaponry, the UN should go after the big-time, multinational, and Asian commercial loggers that are the culprits in big-time denudation of forests.

UN should have teeth in terms of legislative means. It has the privilege to do that. Leave the social conscientization and awareness campaigns to non-government.

Greenpeace has done more, actively more, than the UN has! When groups such as Greenpeace has already successfully lobbied for laws to be enacted, UN has to step in and marshal those laws.
